Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies from the Kimberley to the North Interior and to the inland
Pilbara.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies near the south coast with a broad trough developing
inland from the west coast. The trough deepens and moves east during Tuesday
and Wednesday. A weak cold front moves over the far southwest of the state on
Wednesday, with a new high pressure ridge developing rapidly in its wake on
Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 17 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, and central
and northern parts of the Interior. Showers about the SW Capes, most likely in
the evening.
Forecast for Wednesday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara, Interior, far
northeast Gascoyne, and east Eucla. Possible showers southwest of Perth to
Bremer Bay.
Forecast for Thursday 19 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, northeast Gascoyne, far northeast Goldfields, and northern Eucla.
Forecast for Friday 20 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northeast Gascoyne, northern and eastern Goldfields, the Eucla and far eastern
parts of the Southeast Coastal district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
