Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from the inland Kimberley to the North Interior and to the inland
Pilbara. A ridge will briefly develop over the western Pilbara from Saturday
afternoon through to early Sunday afternoon.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front is contracting east through the Bight with another cold
front moving across southern parts in its wake during Saturday. A high pressure
ridge develops over southern parts of the State on Sunday then begins to
contract to the south coast on Monday as a trough develops inland from the west
coast. The trough moves east later Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 November
Showers about the South West Land Division, adjacent Gascoyne, southern
Goldfields and the far eastern Eucla. Thunderstorms possible over southern
parts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and the adjacent
Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley.
Forecast for Sunday 15 November
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts and the adjacent far southern parts.
Morning showers along the west coast south of Lancelin. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley.
Forecast for Monday 16 November
Shower and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and North Interior. Light showers
over the South West coast and adjacent inland area.
Forecast for Tuesday 17 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, east Pilbara and Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
