Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara and will drift
slowly east Monday. A high pressure ridge will develop over central parts of
the State on Tuesday before a new trough develops through the inland Pilbara
and inland Kimberley on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deepening trough lies through the Goldfields and will contract eastwards on
Monday as a strong cold front moves through the South West Land Division. A
deep low pressure system will move south of the State from late Monday through
Tuesday. A high pressure ridge develops in its wake through central parts of
the State during Tuesday before contracting to the south coast on Wednesday. A
second weaker cold front approaches the southwest of the State Thursday evening.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 9 November
Showers and possible thunderstorms extending through the South West Land
Division during the day, with small hail possible in southwestern parts in the
evening. Possible squally winds with showers and storms over the southern parts
of the South West Land Division and moderate to heavy falls over the South
West, southern Lower West and western Great Southern and South Coastal
districts. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley and eastern
Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 10 November
Showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division, with
thunderstorms and small hail possible in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the northern Kimberley

Forecast for Wednesday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers along
the south coast and adjacent parts, clearing later in the day.

Forecast for Thursday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern Kimberley. Showers over
the South West and coastal areas of the South Coastal district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
