Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies from the inland Kimberley to the inland Pilbara and will drift
slowly east.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure extends to the south of the State. A deepening trough
lies near the west coast Friday before moving inland of the west coast on
Saturday as the ridge contacts eastwards. A cold front approaches the Southwest
Capes Sunday evening, and will move through the South West Land Division during
Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 6 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara,
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, Interior, Eucla, central and eastern parts of
the South West Land Division. Showers possible along the south coast between
Albany and Esperance. Possible moderate to heavy falls for the northern Central
Wheat belt.

Forecast for Saturday 7 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields,
Eucla and eastern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, Interior, southeast
Goldfields, Eucla and the South East Coastal district. Showers developing near
the Southwest Capes later in the evening.

Forecast for Monday 9 November
Showers extending through the South West Land Division during the day, with
small hail in the South West and adjacent districts. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the Kimberley, eastern Interior, southern Goldfields, Eucla and
southern parts of the Southwest Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
