Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the North Interior to the southern Gascoyne. During today
and Tuesday a branch of the trough will form through inland parts of the
Pilbara and remain near stationary on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies to the south of the State. A surface trough lies
over the far southern Gascoyne and will then extend from the South Interior
through the Goldfields and into the central parts of the South West Land
Division during today and Tuesday before deepening through these parts on
Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 19 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley, southern and
eastern Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, and over southern and central parts of the
South West Land Division away from the west coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley, the
far South Interior, southern Goldfields, Eucla and over eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Showers also likely over the remaining southern and
central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and over southern and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 22 October
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and over eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Showers likely over remaining southern and central parts of the South
West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
