Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the western Kimberley through to near the Pilbara
coast. Hot conditions persisting for coming days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure system will weaken off the south coast early Monday. A high
pressure ridge will form near the south coast on Monday and Tuesday, with a
high pressure system becoming established in the Bight by Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 24 August
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division, with early showers
also possible along the west coast south of Lancelin. Areas of morning fog over
central and southern parts of the South West Land Division, and also near the
Kimberley coast.
Forecast for Tuesday 25 August
Showers possible near the western south coast. Areas of morning fog over
southern parts of the South West Land Division, and also near the western
Kimberley coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 26 August
Generally clear across the State.
Forecast for Thursday 27 August
Showers possible near the western south coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
