Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State. A trough
extends from the inland Kimberley through to the Pilbara coast. Hot conditions
will develop over northern parts later in the week and over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge developing over southern parts of the State. The ridge
will remain there on Thursday before dropping south of the State on Friday. A
cold front will affect southwestern parts on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 19 August
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Showers also possible along the
west coast south of Jurien Bay.

Forecast for Thursday 20 August
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Light showers also possible near
the west coast south of Perth. Possible morning frost over parts of the Central
Wheat Belt and the Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Friday 21 August
Showers possible near the southern and Eucla coasts and about the SW Capes.

Forecast for Saturday 22 August
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. Showers or patchy
light rain also possible over remaining parts of the South West Land Division
and the adjacent Gascoyne and Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
