Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weakening high pressure ridge is moving over southeastern Australia. A new
ridge will develop over southern WA from Tuesday evening and a high will move
into the Bight later Wednesday. Easterly winds freshening over the Pilbara
during Wednesday and Thursday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weakening cold front will move along eastern parts of the south coast today
with a new ridge of high pressure developing from the west in its wake. A high
will move into the Bight later on Wednesday. A weak front will move over
southwestern parts of the South West Land Division on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 28 July
Showers about the south coast. Light early morning showers about coastal parts
of the Central West and Lower west as well as through the Central Wheat Belt
and inland areas of the Southeast Coastal district.
Forecast for Wednesday 29 July
Showers near the coast between Bunbury and Albany.
Forecast for Thursday 30 July
Showers near the coast between Bunbury and Albany.
Forecast for Friday 31 July
Showers developing southwest of a line Dongara to Esperance, mainly light and
mainly in near coastal areas.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
