Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A large high pressure system will move over the south of WA during Friday and
into the the Bight during Saturday and Sunday, with a fresh burst of east to
southeasterly winds along the Pilbara and Kimberley coast.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving over southwest WA and will lie over the Bight
on Saturday as a weak front approaches and moves over southwestern parts
Saturday evening. The cold front will move over southern parts of the South
West Land Division Sunday morning, then weaken and contract south of the State
during the afternoon. Another cold front will move over the southwest during
Monday afternoon and evening.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 July
Morning frost patches through southern central inland parts. A shower possible
near the Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 25 July
Showers developing about South West District and adjacent parts in the late
afternoon and evening. Light falls anticipated through inland parts. Morning
frost patches through Goldfields, South Interior and the Eucla.
Forecast for Sunday 26 July
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Israelite Bay clearing most parts
during the afternoon. Showers likely to linger in the Lower West during the
afternoon and early evening.
Forecast for Monday 27 July
Showers developing southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Hopetoun during the day.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
