Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A large high pressure system in the Bight will weaken as a front passes along
the south coast through to Friday. A new high will then establish in the Bight
during Saturday and Sunday with a fresh burst of east to southeasterly winds
along the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will continue across the southeast of WA today with a high
pressure system developing over southwest WA by Friday morning. The high will
shift over the Bight on Saturday as another weak front approaches the State,
moving over southwestern parts overnight on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 23 July
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and far southern
Goldfields, with thunderstorms possible near the south coast. Possible light
showers about the west coast south of Perth clearing in the afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Friday 24 July
Morning frost patches through central inland parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 25 July
Showers developing about southwestern parts of the South West Land Division in
the late afternoon and extending to southwest of a line Lancelin to Esperance
by midnight. Light falls anticipated through inland parts.

Forecast for Sunday 26 July
Chance of an early shower near the Esperance coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
