Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state and a weak trough
is situated over the west Pilbara. The ridge will weaken today before
rebuilding again on Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southeastern parts of the state and a low
pressure system lies to the south. A trough is moving through eastern parts on
Tuesday as the low moves further away to the southeast. A new ridge of high
pressure will build across the Mid West coast as a weak cold front brushes the
southwest corner of the state on Tuesday, extending along the south coast on
Wednesday. The ridge will build further over the south of the state on Thursday
and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 7 July
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division. A
chance of morning showers over the southeast Goldfields and western Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division and the
Eucla coast, contracting to coastal areas during the day. A risk of a
thunderstorm about the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Thursday 9 July
Showers about the southern and Eucla coasts and adjacent parts.

Forecast for Friday 10 July
Showers about the Eucla and southern coasts east of Albany and adjacent parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
