Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies of the southern parts of the state. The ridge
will build with a high moving into the Bight by Friday morning resulting in a
fresh and gusty east to southeasterly flow across the northern half, easing
from Sunday as the high moves over southeast Australia and a trough approaches
the Pilbara coast from the west.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies of the southern parts of the state. The ridge
will build on Thursday with a high pressure system consolidating in the Bight
on Friday. The high will contract eastwards on Saturday as a trough develops
off the west coast. A cold front approaches the southwest before stalling on
Sunday as a low pressure system develops off the South West Capes.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 2 July
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts and adjacent inland areas. Morning
frost though the southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and inland
parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 3 July
Showers near the southern coast. Morning frost though the southern Goldfields,
inland Eucla, southern South Interior and inland parts of the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Saturday 4 July
Showers developing over the Southwest district extending to be southwest of a
line Mandurah to Albany in the evening. The chance of a thunderstorm southwest
of a line Busselton to Windy Harbour.

Forecast for Sunday 5 July
Showers extending across the South West Land Division during the day and the
adjacent Gascoyne in the evening. The chance of a thunderstorm southwest of a
line Geraldton to Bremer Bay.
