Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge over the southern parts of the state will maintain a fresh and gusty east to southeasterly flow over northern parts of the state for the next few days. A cloud band will develop over the Kimberley during Wednesday and slowly contract northwards during Thursday and Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is brushing the south coast during Monday with a ridge developing in the wake of the front near the south coast by late Monday. This ridge will persist for the remainder of next week, with a high will moving into the Bight on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 18 May
Showers over southern coastal districts, with small hail possible along the south coast. Morning showers possible along the west coast south of Lancelin. Showers developing along the Eucla coast in the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 May
Showers near the southern and Eucla coasts. Isolated areas of morning frost over parts of the Central Wheat Belt and adjacent Great Southern districts. Patchy showers developing over the southwest Kimberley in the evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 20 May
Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division and the Eucla coast, with possible showers developing near the Pilbara coast. Patchy rain areas developing through central parts of the Kimberley during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 21 May
Showers near the south coast. Patchy rain areas over the Kimberley, contracting north during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
