Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the state with a high moving into the
Bight. This will result in a continuation of the fresh and gusty east to
southeasterly flow over northern parts of the state.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving east through the Bight, with a surface trough
deepening off the west coast during Wednesday. The trough will lie near the
west coast on Thursday before moving inland from the west coast on Friday ahead
of a weak cold front that will move over the far southwest of the state during
the day. Another ridge establishes itself south of the state on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 13 May
Possible light morning showers about the Eucla coast, otherwise mostly clear
over the remainder of the state.

Forecast for Thursday 14 May
Mostly sunny across the State.

Forecast for Friday 15 May
Showers developing over the Southwest district in the morning and extending to
areas southwest of Lancelin to Katanning to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and
evening.

Forecast for Saturday 16 May
Possible light morning showers over the southeast and southern coastal district.
