Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is becoming established over central WA. The ridge will remain across central parts of the State over the coming days as a weak cold front brushes the western south coast on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 April
Light showers southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay and also possible over the inland Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 April
Showers southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Showers and thunderstorms over the far south Interior, adjacent eastern Goldfields and Eucla. The chance of an afternoon thunderstorm about the northwest Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Thursday 23 April
Showers about coastal parts between Lancelin and Israelite Bay, clearing during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the far south Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 24 April
Showers near the coast between Augusta and Albany.
