Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough lies over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara and will
move through the central Pilbara and North Interior and re-establish over the
over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara on Tuesday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is becoming established over central WA. The ridge
will remain across central parts of the State over the coming days as another
cold front brushes the western south coast later Monday followed by another
weaker front on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 20 April
Showers over the western Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields
and southwest Interior. Showers about coastal and adjacent inland parts between
Lancelin and Bremer Bay. The chance of an afternoon thunderstorm about the
northwest Kimberley coast.
Forecast for Tuesday 21 April
Showers southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay and also over the northeast
Gascoyne and South Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 22 April
Showers southwest of Lancelin to Bremer Bay. Showers and thunderstorms over the
far south Interior, adjacent eastern Goldfields and Eucla. The chance of an
afternoon thunderstorm about the northwest Kimberley coast.
Forecast for Thursday 23 April
Showers about coastal parts between Lancelin and Israelite Bay, clearing during
the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the far south Interior and Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
