Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the inland Pilbara and Kimberley. The trough will move off the Kimberley and east and central Pilbara coast for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system will move into the Bight on Saturday with a trough extending down the west coast, moving inland during the day. The trough will contract further east during Sunday as the high pressure system move over the eastern states. A weak cold front is expected to brush the southwest corner of the state Sunday morning and again late Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 11 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and central Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 12 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley. Light morning showers about the west coast south of Lancelin and the south coast west of Albany.

Forecast for Monday 13 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley and north and west Pilbara. Light showers possible southwest of Perth to Esperance.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the far north and west Kimberley and through the Pilbara. Light showers possible southwest of Lancelin to Israelite Bay.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
