Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies near the Pilbara coast and Kimberley coast. The trough will
move offshore for periods over the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high lies well south of the Bight. A broad trough lies just inland
from the west coast and will shift further inland – particularly in southern
parts – during the day. A weak frontal feature will affect the far southwest
today, with a ridge rapidly developing in its wake south of the State overnight
and during Friday. The west coast trough will redevelop early Saturday before
moving inland later in the day.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 9 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and central Pilbara. Showers
developing about the southwest Capes and south coast west of Walpole.

Forecast for Friday 10 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the central and north Kimberley. Early showers
near the south coast west of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 11 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Chance of a shower near the
Southwest Capes.

Forecast for Sunday 12 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northern Pilbara.
