Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the inland Pilbara and Kimberley.
The trough will remain near stationary over the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high will move south of the Bight during today, strengthening the
ridge over southeastern parts of the State. A trough off the west coast will
deepen further over the next few days before moving inland for a period on
Thursday. The trough will redevelop off of the west coast during Friday.
Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 7 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Showers about the Eucla
coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara,
North Interior and far northeast Gascoyne. Morning showers about the eastern
Eucla coast.
Forecast for Thursday 9 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, central Pilbara and the
adjacent Gascoyne. Showers developing about the south coast west of Albany.
Forecast for Friday 10 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley. A chance of a shower along
the south coast between Albany and Esperance, most likely during the morning.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
