Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure trough extends through the inland Pilbara and Kimberley.
The trough will move off the west Pilbara coast for a period during the morning over the next few days.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is strengthening to the south of the State and a
strong high will move south of the Bight on Tuesday, strengthening the ridge over southeastern parts of the State. A trough off the west coast will deepen further during the coming week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 6 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Interior, inland Gascoyne and the northern Goldfields. Patchy light morning showers over central and eastern parts of the Southwest Land Division, the remaining Goldfields and western Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior, northeast Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Light showers about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior and far
northeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Thursday 9 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley and central Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
