Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A surface trough will lie inland from the Pilbara coast and into the Kimberley for the next few days.
Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies well south of the State and a surface trough extends from the western south coast towards the Interior of WA. On Sunday the trough will move back towards the west coast and offshore on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 7 March
The chance of showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, eastern parts of the Eucla and the far south of the South Interior. Light showers possible about the southwest Capes.
Forecast for Sunday 8 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley with a slight chance near coastal parts of the northeast Pilbara. Light showers about the south coast between Esperance and Eyre and southwestern parts of the Southwest Land Division.
Forecast for Monday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley with a chance over the Eucla and adjacent South Interior. Light showers about the south coast east of Albany.
Forecast for Tuesday 10 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley and South Interior with a chance over the east Eucla.
Forecast for Wednesday 11 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the west Kimberley and throughout the Interior.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
