Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the north of the State.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State and a trough inland from the west coast. The trough will move east during Sunday and reaching the Goldfields and Gascoyne on Monday before weakening. Another trough will develop near the west coast on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and central parts of the South West Land Division.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Monday 23 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla.
Forecast for Tuesday 24 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, Gascoyne and Goldfields.
Forecast for Wednesday 25 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields and northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.
