Weather Situation - Northern Western Australia
A trough lies inland from the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts.

Weather Situation - Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system is moving south of the State with a trough to deepen off the west coast on Friday morning, before moving east during the afternoon and on Saturday. A cold front will move over southwestern parts of the state during Saturday followed by a ridge of high pressure building rapidly along the south coast later in the day and on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, inland Pilbara, west Interior, inland Gascoyne, Goldfields, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and adjacent Interior, southeastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields and parts of the South West Land Division, away from the west coast.

Forecast for Saturday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla, and central and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers developing over areas southwest of a line from Geraldton to Bremer Bay during the day with possible thunderstorms over the Southwest district and adjacent areas.

Forecast for Sunday 8 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and west Kimberley, Interior and Eucla. Morning showers about the western south coast.

Forecast for Monday 9 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and northeast Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Friday.
