Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies along the Pilbara coast and extends through the southern Kimberley into the North Interior. The trough will gradually move out of the North Interior to lie along the west Kimberley coast and into the Pilbara over the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high lies in the Bight and a surface trough is deepening near the west coast. The trough will move east later on Sunday and during Monday. A weak cold front will brush the western south coast later Monday with a ridge then developing over the south of the State. A surface trough will develop inland from the west coast on Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and northern Interior.
Forecast for Sunday 27 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and northern Interior, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Monday 28 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and Interior, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Showers possible near the south coast west of Bremer Bay for a period in the morning.
Forecast for Tuesday 29 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, inland Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and northwest Interior, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Wednesday 30 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and the Interior, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
