Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough of low pressure lies over the western Kimberley and inland Pilbara. Another branch of the trough lies from the eastern Pilbara down across the Interior and is expected to move eastwards over the weekend as a ridge develops over the south of the state. A trough will begin to move through the Pilbara during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is developing rapidly along the south coast over the weekend and will move south of the state on Monday. A deepening trough develops off of the west coast early Tuesday before moving inland during Tuesday evening and on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 5 October
Showers through southern districts of the South West Land Division contracting to the Southeast Coastal district by this evening. Afternoon showers and the risk of a thunderstorm about the north Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Sunday 6 October
Some showers about the south coast. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the north Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Monday 7 October
Showers about the south coast and adjacent parts west of Israelite Bay. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms about the north Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 October
Afternoon showers or thunderstorms about the north Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 9 October
Most sunny.
