Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the west Kimberley into the central Pilbara and will remain generally stationary for the next few days. A high pressure ridge will remain over most of southern WA today and over the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will remain over southern parts of WA over the weekend with the exception of a weak cold front that will brush the southwest of the State on Saturday. A broad trough will develop near the west coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 6 September
Chance of high based showers and thunderstorms over the southeast Gascoyne.

Forecast for Saturday 7 September
Widespread morning frost through inland parts of the South West Land Division and the southern Goldfields. Showers possible southwest of a line from Bunbury to Albany. Early fog possible over coastal parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 8 September
Morning drizzle possible between Albany and Ravensthorpe and adjacent inland areas. Early fog possible over coastal parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 9 September
Mostly sunny across the State with warm temperatures through western and central parts. Windy through the northeast extending down to the Goldfields and northeastern South West Land Division. Early fog possible over coastal parts of the Pilbara and Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 10 September
Light showers possible about the west coast between Geraldton and Bunbury.
