Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the West Kimberley into the central Pilbara and will remain generally stationary for the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front over southeast WA will continue to move east ahead of a second stronger front expected to cross the south of the State during Sunday. Further cold fronts are expected to affect southern WA on Monday and from later on Tuesday.

Showers about the south coast, clearing in the evening.
Forecast for Sunday 1 September
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Bremer Bay in the morning and extending to southwest of a line Kalbarri to Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Thunderstorms and DAMAGING winds possible southwest of a line from Mandurah to Esperance. Thunderstorms possible in the Eucla during the evening.
Forecast for Monday 2 September
Showers and possible thunderstorms over areas southwest of a line from Lancelin to Kellerberrin to Bremer Bay.
Forecast for Tuesday 3 September
Showers extending through the South West Land Division and into the adjacent Goldfields. Showers also possible over the Eucla.
Forecast for Wednesday 4 September
Showers about coastal parts between Kalbarri and Esperance extending during the day through the South West Land Division and into the adjacent SW Goldfields, coastal Gascoyne, and western Eucla. Thunderstorms and small hail possible over the southern parts of the South West Land Division.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Sunday.
