Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State resulting in a fresh east to southeasterly flow across the north for most of the coming week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over southern parts of the State. A cold front will approach the State on Thursday moving through the South West Land Division Thursday night and Friday morning.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 19 August
Showers possible near the western south coast.
Forecast for Tuesday 20 August
Widespread areas of morning frost over southern inland parts of the State. Mostly sunny day. Gusty easterly winds over northern districts in the morning.

Mostly sunny day. Gusty easterly winds over northern districts in the morning.
Forecast for Thursday 22 August
Showers developing about the Southwest Capes during the afternoon and reaching southwest of a line Shark Bay to Albany during the evening. Possible thunderstorms about the coast between Jurien Bay and Albany in the evening.
Forecast for Friday 23 August
Showers throughout the South West Land Division, southwestern Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Possible thunderstorms southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay in the early morning, rapidly contracting to the south coast between Augusta and Esperance.
