Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A surface trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts and will linger until Thursday before a ridge extends into northern parts from a strengthening high in the Bight.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system lies over the Bight and will strengthen and remain for the rest of the working week. A front will move over the South West Land Division on Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms developing about the west coast south of Geraldton during the afternoon and evening. Showers extending throughout the remainder of the South West Land Division and possibly reaching the adjacent southwest Goldfields late in the evening.
