Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the west Kimberley into the east Pilbara and Northern Interior and will persist over the coming days. A ridge of high pressure will build over the Pilbara on Saturday and shift to the south on Sunday re-aligning to the trough along the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will move through southwest parts Wednesday night and Thursday morning. A weak ridge of high pressure will develop over the south coast in the wake of the front with a high pressure cell forming in the Bight on Friday. A surface trough develops near the west coast later on Friday, deepening and moving east on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 24 July
Showers southwest of Yanchep to Hopetoun extending to southwest of Lancelin to Ravensthorpe during the evening. Light rain about the central Pilbara and adjacent Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 25 July
Showers about central and southern parts of South West Land Division, adjacent southern Goldfields and western Eucla. Light rain clearing from the Interior.

Forecast for Friday 26 July
Showers over the South West district extending into the adjacent South Coastal, Great Southern and Lower West districts during the day.

Forecast for Saturday 27 July
Showers along the west coast and south coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorms developing over the central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior during the day.

Forecast for Sunday 28 July
Showers along the mid west coast and south coast. Showers and the chance of a thunderstorms over the central and southern inland parts of the South West Land Division, the Goldfields and Eucla clearing during the day. Patchy rain developing over the South Interior.
