Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Kimberley with a high pressure ridge to the south directing an easterly flow over the Pilbara and North Interior. The trough will deepen through the central Kimberley and into the North Interior on Wednesday and Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will develop over the south of the State, and remain there until the next cold front moves through southern parts Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Another weak ridge develops over the south coast in the wake of the front on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 22 July
Showers about the south and west coasts.

Forecast for Tuesday 23 July
Areas of morning frost over southern inland parts of the State. Showers near the south coast and over areas southwest of a line from Perth to Bremer Bay. Light patchy rain about the western Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 24 July
Areas of morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields and Eucla. Light patchy rain over the western Pilbara, clearing during the day. Showers over the South West District, extending into adjacent parts of the Lower West, Great Southern and South Coastal districts during the day.

Forecast for Thursday 25 July
Showers across the South West Land Division and the southwest Goldfields. Generally light falls.

Forecast for Friday 26 July
Showers over the South West and South Coastal, developing over the Great Southern and Lower West during the day.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
