Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies over the Kimberley and northern Interior before contracting to the western Pilbara and Kimberley coast on Sunday. A new ridge of high pressure is building over southern parts of the State this weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is building over central parts of the State during Saturday as a cold, unstable airmass moves along the south coast. A weak cold front is expected to brush the western south coast on Monday followed by a strengthening of the ridge over southern WA through the remainder of next week.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 6 July
Showers over areas southwest of Lancelin to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Sunday 7 July
Showers over areas southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay. Morning showers over coastal parts of the South East Coastal district. Areas of morning frost through the southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and the Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Monday 8 July
Showers over areas southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay extending along coastal parts of the South East Coastal district during the afternoon and evening.

Forecast for Tuesday 9 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 July
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division, extending to the Eucla coast in the afternoon and evening.
