Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state directing a fresh east to southeast flow off the Pilbara and Kimberly coast. A weak trough will develop over the west Pilbara on Wednesday and move eastwards on Thursday and into the Kimberley on Friday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong cold front is approaching the state and is expected to move through the South West Land Division during Wednesday, with another cold front and cold unstable air mass to follow on Thursday. A weak ridge of high pressure will develop through central parts of the State on Friday, with a weak cold front brushing the south coast late Saturday and early Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 25 June
Showers about the South West and adjacent Lower West districts. Showers developing about the western and central Gascoyne and adjacent Central Wheat Belt.

Forecast for Wednesday 26 June
Rain over the southern Gascoyne and northern Central West extending into Central Wheat Belt, and southwest Goldfields during the day. Widespread showers over the west coast, extending inland through the South West Land Division during the day, with thunderstorms possible southwest of a line Perth to Hopetoun. Possible moderate falls about the far southwest Gascoyne, Lower West and South West Districts.

Forecast for Thursday 27 June
Showers over the Gascoyne, far western Pilbara, Goldfields, southwest Interior and Eucla, easing during the day. Showers through the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms and small hail possible southwest of a line Perth to Hopetoun.

Forecast for Friday 28 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla, easing during the day. Thunderstorms and small hail possible about western and southern coasts parts between Perth and the South Australian border, contracting eastwards.

Forecast for Saturday 29 June
Showers about southern coastal parts, clearing east of Albany by the afternoon. Showers developing about western coastal parts south of Jurien Bay and adjacent parts of the Great Southern during the day.
