Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the west Kimberley. The trough will move into the inland Pilbara later on Wednesday.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will develop over the south of the State on Tuesday and remain there for the most of the working week. During Friday evening a front and will approach the west coast.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 17 June
Partly cloudy over southern areas of the State.
Forecast for Tuesday 18 June
Widespread morning frost through the inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Slight chance of a shower near the western south coast.
Forecast for Wednesday 19 June
Widespread morning frost through the inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast Interior. Slight chance of a shower near the western south coast.
Forecast for Thursday 20 June
Areas of morning frost through the southern inland South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast Interior. Possible showers developing over the Pilbara and northeast Gascoyne.
Forecast for Friday 21 June
Rain areas and possible thunderstorms about the Pilbara, Gascoyne, and northern Goldfields. Showers over northern and western parts of the the South West Land Division, with thunderstorms possible near the coast south of Jurien Bay.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Tuesday.
