Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies over central parts of the state, directing southeasterly winds through the Pilbara and southern Kimberley. A trough will lie over the northern Kimberley for the next few days.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over the Central West coast, where it will remain for the next few days. A weak cold front will move across southern parts during Thursday, followed by cold fronts on Friday evening/Saturday morning, and Sunday evening/Monday morning.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 12 June
Showers southwest of a line Shark Bay to Hopetoun, and along the remainder of the south coast to Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Thursday 13 June
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Hopetoun, and along the remainder of the south coast to Israelite Bay. Light falls inland.
Forecast for Friday 14 June
Showers through most parts of the South West Land Division. Light falls inland. Thunderstorms possible about the western south coast during the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for Saturday 15 June
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Thunderstorms possible near the South East Coastal district. Showers possible in the Eucla.
Forecast for Sunday 16 June
Showers southwest of a line Dongara to Hopetoun, and along the remainder of the south coast and Eucla coast. Light falls inland.
