Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough will lie over the west Kimberley and Pilbara coasts for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge will lie over the southern parts of the State for the next few days. A series of weak cold fronts will skirt the southwest coast during the week. A trough will move east across southern WA late Wednesday and Thursday, before a stronger ridge develops over the southwest of the State later Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 21 May
Showers over the South West and adjacent parts of the South Coastal districts, contracting to the southwest coast this evening.

Forecast for Wednesday 22 May
Showers about coastal parts of the South West district. Morning frost over the Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern.

Forecast for Thursday 23 May
Showers developing southwest of a line Geraldton to Norseman to Eyre, but only light falls are expected.

Forecast for Friday 24 May
Showers over the southwest parts of the South West Land Division and the coastal area of South East Coastal district. Light showers over the eastern Goldfields and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 25 May
Showers over the southern coastal districts, extending inland to adjacent parts of the Great Southern and southern Goldfields for a period during the day. Light showers developing over the Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:45 am WST Wednesday.
