Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will lie over the coastal Kimberley and over the western parts of the Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge over southeast parts will contract eastwards tonight and tomorrow. A cold front approaching the southwest tonight will cross the southwest of the State on Monday. A ridge will lie over the southern parts of the State during Tuesday and will largely be maintained for the next few days. A series of weak cold fronts will skirt the southwest coast during Tuesday and Wednesday.

Showers developing about the South West district during the evening.
Forecast for Monday 20 May
Showers extending through the South West Land Division during the day, reaching the southwest Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields in the afternoon, only light falls expected in northern and eastern parts. Possible showers and the chance of a thunderstorm through the northwest Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 21 May
Showers over the Lower West, South West and South Coastal, contracting to the southwest coast during the afternoon. Light showers and the chance of thunderstorms about the Interior, mainly during the afternoon.
Forecast for Wednesday 22 May
Showers over the South West and the South Coastal west of Albany.
Forecast for Thursday 23 May
Showers over the southwest parts of the South West Land Division and the coastal area of South East Coastal district.
