Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure will develop over the south of the State for the next few days, with strong east to southeasterly wind surges through to the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge will develop over southern parts of the State, with a high moving slowly along the south coast during Thursday and Friday. By Saturday the high pressure system will lie over eastern Bight waters.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 8 May
Showers about the south coast east of Esperance.

Forecast for Thursday 9 May
Morning frost through the southern Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and adjacent inland parts of the South West and South Coastal districts. Showers about coastal parts of the Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 10 May
Morning frost through the southern Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and adjacent inland parts of the South West and South Coastal districts.

Forecast for Saturday 11 May
Mostly sunny conditions for the majority of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 12 May
Showers developing near the western south coast.
