Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough lies near the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts. The trough will push off of the Pilbara coast for periods during the next few mornings.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front will approach the southwest later on Sunday and move across southern parts of the State on Monday morning. During Tuesday a ridge of high pressure will build over southern parts of the State with a high remaining anchored to the southwest of Cape Leeuwin through to Thursday..

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 4 May
Showers southwest of Mandurah to Walpole. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the northern and eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 5 May
Showers over areas southwest of Jurien Bay to Bremer Bay, increasing over areas southwest of Perth to Albany during the evening. Showers and thunderstorms possible over the far northwestern Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Monday 6 May
Showers extending throughout the South West Land Division during the morning, then contracting to areas southwest of Perth to Israelite Bay in the afternoon. Only light falls reaching northern and eastern parts. Showers developing over the southern Goldfields and western Eucla during the day, with thunderstorms possible over far eastern parts of the Southeast Coastal district and the adjacent far western Eucla for a period in the morning.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 May
Showers along the south coast and adjacent inland parts.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 May
Showers over near southern coastal districts and near the Eucla coast.
