Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A strong high pressure system remains near stationary over the Bight during the weekend and will push the surface trough offshore during the next few mornings. Gusty easterly winds along the Pilbara and adjacent Kimberley coasts in the mornings.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure system remains near stationary over the Bight. The high gradually moves eastwards later in the day on Sunday as a trough moves over the west coast ahead of a weak cold front that will move through the southern parts of the State during Monday and Tuesday. A new ridge develops in the wake of the front over the southwest of the State during Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Kimberley, most likely during the afternoon. Showers over southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Tuesday 30 April
Possible showers over the Kimberley, most likely during the afternoon. Showers about southern coastal districts with possible morning thunderstorms through the Eucla and adjacent South Interior.
Forecast for Wednesday 1 May
Showers over southern coastal districts easing west of Esperance in the afternoon and evening. Morning showers through the Great Southern and southern Goldfields.
