Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies along the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. A tropical low off the west Pilbara coast will weaken and dissipate during Sunday evening.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A series of cold fronts will cross the southwest of the State through to Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure will lie over the southern parts of the State during Wednesday and Thursday, with a cold front approaching the SW Capes Thursday night.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 14 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, southwest Interior, northern and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Showers over the remaining South West Land Division. Moderate to heavy falls possible through the Gascoyne and northern Goldfields.
Forecast for Monday 15 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, eastern Eucla and southwest Interior. Showers over the South West Land Division and coastal parts of the Gascoyne.
Forecast for Tuesday 16 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley, central and eastern Pilbara, Interior and eastern Eucla. Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division.
Forecast for Wednesday 17 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley and eastern Interior. Showers about coastal parts between Kalbarri and Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Thursday 18 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the northwest Kimberley. Late showers and thunderstorms developing about the southwest Capes Thursday night.
