Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will lie near the Pilbara and west Kimberley coasts over the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong ridge of high pressure is developing over southern WA. The high pressure centre will move into the Bight on Sunday as a broad trough develops near the west coast. The surface trough will move inland on Monday, then through the Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior during Tuesday. A ridge of high pressure will develop south of the State on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over coastal parts of the northern Kimberley, the inland western Pilbara and northern Gascoyne. Showers along the south coast east of Bremer Bay.
Forecast for Saturday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorm over the western Pilbara and western Gascoyne, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Light morning showers about the Eucla coast. Possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms in the north and west Kimberley.
Forecast for Sunday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms developing over the Lower West, South West, western Great Southern and South Coastal districts during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and Central West, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Light morning showers about the Eucla coast. Possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms in the north and west Kimberley.

Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division and western Gascoyne. Possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms in the north and west Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 2 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division, south and western Gascoyne, southwest Goldfields, and western Eucla. Possible afternoon and early evening thunderstorms in the north and west Kimberley.
