Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the western Pilbara into the interior of the State. The trough will move near to the Pilbara and west Kimberley coasts by Friday as a strong high pressure ridge moves over southern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front will continue along the southeastern coast this evening, with a strong ridge of high pressure to build over southern WA in its wake. The high pressure centre will move into the Bight on Saturday as a broad trough develops offshore from the west coast.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 28 March
Showers and thunderstorms possible over the Central West, northeast Central Wheat Belt, Goldfields, South Interior and inland Eucla. Showers and thunderstorms over coastal parts of the northern Kimberley, southern inland Pilbara and inland Gascoyne. Showers over southern coastal districts.

Forecast for Friday 29 March
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Goldfields and South Interior clearing during the morning. Showers and thunderstorms over coastal parts of the northern Kimberley, the inland western Pilbara and northern Gascoyne, mostly during the afternoon and evening. Showers along the south coast east of Bremer Bay.

Forecast for Saturday 30 March
Showers and thunderstorm over the northwest Kimberley, western Pilbara and western Gascoyne, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Light morning showers about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Sunday 31 March
Showers and thunderstorms developing over the Lower West, South West, western Great Southern and South Coastal districts during the day. Showers and thunderstorms over the western Gascoyne and Central West, mostly in the afternoon and evening. Light morning showers about the Eucla coast.

Forecast for Monday 1 April
Showers and thunderstorms over the South West Land Division and western Gascoyne.
