Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the Pilbara and North Interior moves south, extending to the
Gascoyne where a low resides. This trough lingers until Thursday, when it moves
southeast as a new ridge pushes over the west coast. A broad area of low
pressure persists over the Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge persists to the south as a low sits along a trough over the Gascoyne.
This trough lingers across the State until Thursday, when it moves southeast
towards the southern Interior as a new ridge pushes over the west coast.
Another front may approach the west coast from Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over much of the Kimberley, Interior,
northern Eucla, northern Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and northern parts of
the South West Land Division. Windy at times over southern, central and
northwest WA.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over much of the Kimberley, Interior,
northern Eucla, Goldfields, southern Gascoyne and northern parts of the South
West Land Division. Windy at times over southern, central and northwest WA.

Forecast for Thursday 29 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the central and eastern Kimberley,
Interior, Eucla, Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne and far eastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Windy over the Eucla and Interior districts.

Forecast for Friday 30 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley and far
eastern parts of the Interior and Eucla. Light showers over western and
southern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of morning fog over
southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 31 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Showers
over the South West Land Division with the chance of thunderstorms for the
South West district. Possible morning fog over southern and western parts of
the South West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 1:45 am WST Wednesday.
