Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough stretching across the Pilbara to the Interior will linger for the next
few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold front is approaching the southwest coast. The front will brush the
southeastern coast during Sunday as the ridge extends over the state’s south in
its wake.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 10 October
Showers over the South West Land Division, most widespread south and west of a
line from Lancelin to Albany. Chance of a shower over the central and northern
Kimberley with a possible thunderstorm for eastern parts of the Kimberley and
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 11 October
Showers over the western and southern South West Land Division, mostly about
the coast, and a possible shower for the Gascoyne coast. The chance of showers
and thunderstorms for the eastern Kimberley and central and eastern Interior.
Possible morning fog over the inland western Eucla and adjacent South East
Coastal District. Unseasonably cool temperatures continuing across southern and
western WA.

Forecast for Monday 12 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Interior and eastern Kimberley.
Showers for the northern and eastern Goldfields and northeast Eucla. Possible
morning frost for the Great Southern district. Cool conditions persisting for
far southern and southeast WA.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, eastern Kimberley, southeast
Gascoyne and northern Goldfields. Showers over the remaining central Goldfields
and eastern Eucla. Warmer conditions near the west coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior and central and eastern Kimberley.
Showers over coastal and eastern parts of the Eucla district. A possible late
shower about the South West Capes. Warm conditions near the west coast.
