Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough lies over the Kimberley and North Interior, while another trough
is located over the western Pilbara with a ridge to the southwest. The latter
trough extends west on Monday to the coast, before developing into a west coast
trough as a ridge extends over inland parts on Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Goldfields, Eucla and Interior will move east slowly over the
next couple of days, with a high pressure ridge extending over southern WA. A
trough develops over the Gascoyne on Monday, as a series of troughs pass to the
south of the State. In their wake a ridge develops in the Bight, pushing the
trough over the Gascoyne to the west coast on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northern Goldfields, inland
Gascoyne and the inland northern Central West district. Possible heavy falls
through the northern Goldfields and South Interior. Chance of an afternoon
shower over the Kimberley. Windy over the inland Gascoyne and Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 3 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northern and eastern Goldfields,
eastern Eucla and far eastern Gascoyne. Possible heavy falls through the South
Interior. Chance of an afternoon shower over the Kimberley. Possible morning
fog over the inland southwestern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 4 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Interior. Chance of a shower over
the north and east Kimberley and the eastern Eucla. Light showers southwest of
Bunbury to Albany. Possible morning fog over the southwestern parts of the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 5 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior. Light showers southwest of
Perth to Bremer Bay, clearing in the afternoon. Chance of a shower over the
north Kimberley, mostly in the afternoon. Possible morning fog over the
southern South Interior, northeast Eucla, and inland of the central Pilbara
coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 October
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the southern Gascoyne, western
Goldfields, and inland northern and central parts of the South West Land
Division. The chance of a shower and thunderstorm over the South Interior.
Afternoon showers over the northwest Kimberley. Warm about the west coast.
