Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough will persist over the Kimberley and North Interior through to the
end of the week, while another trough is located over the western Pilbara as a
ridge develops to the southwest.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Goldfields, Eucla and Interior will move east slowly over the
next couple of days. A high pressure ridge is extending over southern WA, as a
new trough develops through inland Gascoyne. The trough will extend into the
South West Land Division on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 1 October
Showers and possible thunderstorms over the Interior. Windy afternoon over the
Gascoyne coast.

Forecast for Friday 2 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northern Goldfields, inland
Gascoyne and the inland northern Central West district. Possible heavy falls
through the northern Goldfields, South Interior and inland Gascoyne. Chance of
an afternoon shower over the Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the northern
Kimberley.

Forecast for Saturday 3 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior, northern and eastern Goldfields,
eastern Eucla and far eastern Gascoyne. Possible heavy falls through the South
Interior, Eucla and eastern Goldfields. Chance of an afternoon shower over the
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over the northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Sunday 4 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Interior. Light showers southwest of
Mandurah to Albany. Chance of a shower over the north and east Kimberley and
eastern Eucla. Possible morning fog over the southwestern parts of the South
West Land Division and the northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 5 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the South Interior. Light showers southwest of
Perth to Bremer Bay. Possible morning fog over the southern parts of the South
Interior and northeast Eucla.
