Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the west Kimberley into the Interior and will linger
for a few days. Another trough extends across the southwest Pilbara over the
weekend, moving east from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and low are deepening over the South West Land Division. A high lies
south of the Bight on the weekend and moves east for the next couple of days.
On Monday the low will slip to the south of the state and the trough will move
over south east parts of the state. A cold front which will approach on Tuesday
and move through during Wednesday. A ridge will extend over southern parts of
the state on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 September
Rain areas, showers and gusty thunderstorms over much of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, Eucla, southern and central Interior, Gascoyne and
southeast Pilbara. Isolated heavy falls possible over southeastern parts of the
South West Land Division and the Goldfields. Chance of an afternoon shower near
the Kimberley coast. Windy about the south coast and over the Gascoyne and
western Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 28 September
Rain areas, showers and gusty thunderstorms over eastern and southern parts of
the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, Eucla, South Interior, and inland
Gascoyne. Chance of a thunderstorm over the northern Gascoyne and far western
Pilbara. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land Division. Chance
of an afternoon shower near the Kimberley coast. Possible morning fog near the
Kimberley coast and over the the inland northern South West Land Division.
Windy afternoon over central WA.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 September
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the South Interior, Eucla, northern and
eastern Goldfields, northeast Gascoyne, and inland Pilbara. Showers over
southern and western parts of the South West Land Division, western Pilbara,
and in the afternoon about the Kimberley coast. Possible morning fog through
inland parts of the South West Land Division and near the Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the east Goldfields, central and southern
Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara, and Eucla. Showers over the
South West Land Division, and in the afternoon about the Kimberley coast.
Possible morning fog near the north Kimberley coast and in inland southeastern
WA.

Forecast for Thursday 1 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior and the eastern Eucla. The chance
of a shower about the south coast, clearing in the afternoon. An afternoon
shower over the north and west Kimberley. Possible morning fog in the northwest
Kimberley. Chance of morning frost in the southern Central Wheat Belt. Windy
afternoon over the Gascoyne coast.
