Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak trough extends from the west Kimberley into the Interior and will linger
for a few days. Another trough extends across the southwest Pilbara on the
weekend, moving east from Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough and low over the inland Gascoyne will deepen and move west across the
South West Land Division on the weekend. A high will develop south of the Bight
on the weekend and move east for the following few days. On Monday the low will
slip to the south of the state and the trough will move over south east parts
of the state. A cold front which will approach on Tuesday and move through
during Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 September
Rain areas, showers and gusty thunderstorms over much of the South West Land
Division, eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla, southern and central Interior,
and inland Pilbara. Isolated heavy falls possible over northeastern parts of
the South West Land Division and the Goldfields. Chance of an afternoon shower
or thunderstorm near the Kimberley coast. Windy across southern parts of the
state.

Forecast for Sunday 27 September
Rain areas, showers and gusty thunderstorms over much of the South West Land
Division, Goldfields, Eucla, southern and central Interior, Gascoyne and
southeast Pilbara. Isolated heavy falls possible over southeastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower near the Kimberley
coast. Possible morning fog near the north Kimberley coast and about the
Central West. Windy about the south coast and over the Gascoyne and western
Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 28 September
Rain areas, showers and gusty thunderstorms over eastern and southern parts of
the South West Land Division, the Goldfields, Eucla, South Interior, and inland
Gascoyne. Chance of a thunderstorm over the northwest Gascoyne and far western
Pilbara. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land Division and
Gascoyne. Chance of an afternoon shower near the Kimberley coast. Possible
morning fog near the Kimberley coast and over the the inland northern South
West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 September
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the South Interior, Eucla, northern and
eastern Goldfields, east Gascoyne, and inland Pilbara. Showers over southern
and western parts of the South West Land Division, western Pilbara, and in the
afternoon about the Kimberley coast. Possible morning fog through inland parts
of the South West Land Division and near the Kimberley coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 September
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the east Goldfields, central and southern
Interior, northeast Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara, Eucla, and the eastern South
East Coastal district. Showers over remaining parts of the South West Land
Division, and in the afternoon about the Kimberley coast. Possible morning fog
near the north Kimberley coast and in inland southeastern WA.
