Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Kimberley down the Pilbara coast as a ridge moves
south of the State. The southern extent of the trough moves east on Tuesday,
lingering over the Interior from Wednesday for the rest of the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies to the southeast, with a west coast trough developing today. The
trough moves eastward on Tuesday as a cold front passes to the south of the
State tonight and Tuesday, lingering over the Goldfields, South Interior and
Eucla for the rest of the week. The next cold front reaches the southwest
corner on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 21 September
Possible showers and thunderstorms over central parts of the Interior, far
northern Goldfields, northeastern Gascoyne and southeastern Pilbara. Chance of
an afternoon shower over the north and west Kimberley. Tending warmer in the
Goldfields and northern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 September
Light showers over the southern South West Land Division. and southern parts of
the South West Land Division. Showers and thunderstorms through the eastern
Gascoyne, western parts of the Eucla and Interior, Goldfields, and eastern
South West Land Division. Chance of an afternoon shower in coastal parts of the
Kimberley. Possible morning fog over inland western parts of the South West
Land Division and the far northern Kimberley. Tending warmer in the eastern
South West Land Division and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 September
Showers over southern and central parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers and thunderstorms across the Eucla, South Interior, southern South West
Land Division, Goldfields, northeast Gascoyne and adjacent southeastern
Pilbara. Chance of an afternoon shower near the north and west Kimberley coast.
Possible morning fog over inland western and southern parts of the South West
Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 24 September
Showers over southern and western parts of the South West Land Division.
Showers and thunderstorms across the Eucla, South Interior, Goldfields, eastern
Gascoyne and adjacent southeastern Pilbara. Chance of an afternoon shower in
coastal parts of the Kimberley. Possible morning fog over inland western and
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Friday 25 September
Showers over the South West Land Division, with showers and thunderstorms
possible across the eastern South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior. Chance of an afternoon shower in coastal
parts of the Kimberley. Possible morning fog inland from the coast in the north
and west Kimberley.
